Overview: Ephemeris 1.0 is a program that computes the phase of the moon and the times and azimuths of sunrise, sunset, moonrise and moonset for any location and date. It can also display a table of sun and moon positions for a given day at 15 minute intervals.



Ephemeris is a program that lets you enter a date and a location and then computes the time and azimuth (compass bearing) or sunrise, sunset, moonrise and moonset. In addition, it displays a schematic representation of the phase of the moon and its % illumination. It can also generate a table listing the positions of the sun and moon in the sky and the length of shadows cast by the sun at 15 minute intervals for a given day. In Calendar mode, it can display the phases of the moon for any given month. Finally there is Compass mode -- just point your pocket PC at the sun or moon and it tells you which way is north. Overview: The first Satellite tracking software for PPC that calculates Iridium Flares, besides of predicting passes with their magnitude. Very interesting for those who love astronomy. This program is similar to Orbitron for PC.




SatCE reads from file standard two lines elements *.tle files (containing satellites orbital parameters) or read them directly from internet. If you want to download them, you should visit this web site: http://www.celestrak.com/

SatCE is very fast (much faster than I could find for sat tracking in internet for PocketPC)!!! A screen is updated every second without any delay with all these fancy things.
